How can I learn of new announcements of companies moving to
Whitley County?
Press releases are made available to local, regional, and state
media (internet, radio, print and television) as soon as the EDC is
granted permission from the corporation. Also, news articles are
posted on our website.
How can I find a job?
If you are seeking a manufacturing/distribution/warehouse position,
we recommend you access our “List of Industries” link on our
website. When the corporation has a website you can simply click and
access their company information. In some instances, even complete
an application.
I want to start a business, who do I contact?
Small, retail and service business should contact one of our three
Chambers of Commerce. Also, the Small Business Development Center
(SBDC) is linked to our EDC site as well.
Where do I get census data?
The EDC annually publishes marketing material for both existing and
prospective new industries. Also, we feature a census link. In
addition, the EDC provides all three Chambers of Commerce current
materials to distribute to visitors.
Where can I get zoning information?
Whitley County Plan Department. They provide friendly, accurate
information and now serve the entire county. |
