Who and what is the WCEDC
WHITLEY COUNTY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION

WHO?
We are a non-profit corporation serving Churubusco, Columbia City, Larwill, South Whitley and Whitley County.

WHAT?
Our goal is to assist existing manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, large commercial and corporate offices in their expansion and relocation needs within Whitley County.

WHY?
Our EDC exists to help maintain stability and market diversification for increased tax investment and job creation for our citizens and regional development.

WHEN?
In 1992 our corporation papers were signed and in 1993 the offices were first opened.

WHERE?
Whitley County is located in northeast Indiana between the Chicago and Detroit markets. Our location affords ease of transportation while being in a cluster of orthopedic, tooling and steel industries.

HOW?
We accomplish results by collaborating with key public officials who remain proactive in growth and development for their communities and counties.
